Work arrangement: Hybrid, three days onsite weekly
Salary: Base, plus up to a 10% bonus opportunity
Help shape the stories behind outdoor spaces across North America. Our client is hiring an experienced SEO copywriter to create practical, engaging content for homeowners, contractors and commercial audiences.
Your main focus: deliver 8–12 well-researched SEO articles each month, typically 500–1,500 words, covering hardscape products, design, installation and industry trends.
Reporting to the Director of Communications, you’ll own projects from brief to publication and collaborate with Unilock’s product, creative, web and regional teams.
What you will do
- Research, write and edit 8–12 SEO articles each month.
- Turn technical information and expert insights into clear, practical stories.
- Balance search performance with accuracy, readability and brand voice.
- Own timelines, reviews and approvals from brief to delivery.
- Align stakeholders, resolve conflicting feedback and keep work moving.
- Support website, product and campaign copy as priorities allow.
What you bring
- Minimum 5–7 years of in‑house SEO writing experience, bonus if you have experience in hardscape or building materials.
- A portfolio of substantial long‑form SEO articles—not only product descriptions or ecommerce copy.
- A record of producing high‑volume content on deadline without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
- Working knowledge of SEO performance measurement.
- Strong project management, prioritization and stakeholder‑alignment skills.
- A relevant degree or equivalent skilled experience.
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy hands‑on writing, deep product learning and the autonomy of an individual‑contributor role.
What the company offers
- Base salary, plus up to a 10% bonus.
- Three weeks’ vacation and a paid December holiday closure.
- Health, dental and life insurance.
- Employer pension matching after one year.
- Product discounts, team events and employee recognition.
The team works onsite in Etobicoke on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and one additional day each week. Occasional U.S. travel may be required for company and brand immersion.
