About the Role

Our client, a national provider of essential services, is looking for a proactive and organized Remote Environmental Cleaning Coordinator to manage and optimize cleaning operations across their various sites from a remote location. This role will focus on ensuring that all facilities adhere to stringent environmental cleaning standards, including hygiene, sanitation, and waste management protocols. You will work closely with on-site teams, providing guidance, developing schedules, and monitoring performance to ensure consistent service delivery nationwide. This position offers a fantastic remote prospect to influence high standards of cleanliness without being tied to a specific office in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement standardized environmental cleaning protocols and procedures for all company facilities.
- Create and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and coverage across different sites.
- Provide remote guidance, training, and support to on-site cleaning staff and supervisors on best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct virtual assessments and audits of cleaning operations, identifying deviations and areas for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, advising on procurement needs and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations in cleaning operations.
- Investigate and address any cleaning-related issues or complaints, developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, safety incidents, and supply usage.




- Collaborate with regional managers and site personnel to ensure seamless integration of cleaning services with overall facility operations.
- Stay informed about advancements in cleaning technologies and sustainable environmental practices.

Requirements

- Proven experience in cleaning operations management, facilities management, or a similar role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and environmental regulations, and health & safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and for..
- Proficiency in remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., video conferencing, project management software).
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of self-discipline and accountability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide and support remote teams.

- Experience in waste management coordination is an advantage.
