Shape Intact Financial Corporation’s government relations strategy through policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder relationships in a hybrid work model.

As Manager, Government Relations, you will support federal and provincial advocacy across Canada. You will collaborate with Legal, Climate, Social Impact/ESG, Communications, and business teams. Your work will help maintain IFC’s profile, reputation, and influence with governments, regulators, associations, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop government relations strategies aligned with IFC business objectives
- Manage federal and provincial advocacy efforts
- Monitor public policy and political issues affecting key markets
- Advise senior leaders and business units on relevant issues




- Maintain relationships with government decision makers and stakeholder groups

Requirements:

- Minimum eight years government relations or public affairs experience
- Minimum five years leading or managing direct reports
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Post-secondary education in Political Science or related field
- Ability to lobby federally is an asset
