Provide acute medicine nursing care at Squamish Hospital with Vancouver Coastal Health, using assessment, intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Work within BCCNM standards and VCH policies.

This Registered Nurse position serves designated acute medicine patients, including geriatric and chronic disease populations. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while supporting discharge planning, client advocacy, teaching, and health promotion. The practice follows client and family centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and plan care for acute medicine patients
- Implement and evaluate individualized nursing interventions
- Participate in discharge planning and client advocacy




- Teach clients and families about illness and wellness
- Document care and respond to incidents appropriately

Requirements:

- Current practicing BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
- Acute medicine nursing practice experience and knowledge
- Focused secondary assessment and care planning ability
- Competence with IV, oxygen, tubes, drains, and catheters
- Ability to document care accurately and promptly
