The EHS Specialist supports plant-floor safety in Sherwood Park or Nisku, Alberta. You will guide employees, supervisors, and management on safe work procedures, hazard identification, and legislated requirements. The position also develops safety training supplements, provides EHS solutions, and responds to audit results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interact with employees and leaders on the plant floor
- Identify hazards and develop secure work procedures
- Conduct EHS inspections and job hazard analyses
- Investigate accidents and implement corrective action plans
- Monitor safety programs, documentation,



and performance

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree, occupational health and safety certificate, or equivalent
- Experience investigating accidents and conducting workplace inspections
- Understanding of Alberta occupational health and safety legislation
- Strong presentation, written, verbal, and computer skills
- Availability for industrial plant work and on-call rotation
