Lead recreation business analysis for Halifax Regional Municipality, applying process improvement and software configuration expertise across facilities and outdoor assets.

This full-time position supports Parks & Recreation’s Business Services Division for up to 18 months. The Senior Recreation Business Analyst evaluates, plans, and implements improvements across recreation programming, facility scheduling, memberships, and drop-ins. You will develop business cases, conduct financial analysis, and maintain system configuration for online and onsite delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business cases and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Configure recreation software solutions for service stakeholders
- Conduct financial analysis and identify efficiency gains
- Manage analysts through coaching,



delegation, and training
- Develop a multi-year application development strategic plan

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree or suitable analysis training and experience
- Extensive knowledge of recreation software services applications
- Three years’ computerized office workplace experience
- Three years’ service improvement and process engineering experience
- Advanced business requirements gathering and documentation proficiency
