Lead safe crane and rigging operations with Sterling Crane Canada in Prince George, applying lift planning, supervision, and safety expertise.

This permanent full time unionized position supervises field personnel across varied lifting projects. You will coordinate riggers, operators, clients, and site supervisors while supporting safe, efficient execution. The role reports to the Branch Manager and may include crane operation when supervision is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise crane and rigging operations across multiple projects
- Assess sites and prepare effective lift plans
- Direct riggers, operators, and crew members
- Inspect equipment and identify potential hazards
- Report incidents to Branch Manager and HSE

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Crane Operator License and Class 1 license
- Clean Driver's Abstract and willingness to travel
- Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging methods, and best practices
- Understanding of Z-150, ANSI, CSA, and OH&S; standards
- Ability to interpret blueprints, lift plans, and engineering drawings
