WorkSafeBC seeks a senior occupational hygienist with at least six years of industry-related experience. You will provide technical guidance on complex health and safety issues while supporting education, consultation, and enforcement. The work includes regional and provincial projects, studies, investigations, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and participate in occupational hygiene projects, studies, and investigations
- Advise stakeholders on complex occupational hygiene and health issues
- Research issues and recommend practical enforcement strategies
- Develop regulations, guidelines, resources, and prevention plans




- Support prevention officers through occupational hygiene training curriculum

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
- At least six years of directly related experience
- Certified Industrial Hygienist or Registered Occupational Hygienist designation
- Critical thinking skills for evaluating workplace health issues
- Ability to travel throughout British Columbia and stay overnight
