Apply advanced upper extremity therapy skills as an Occupational Therapist with Vancouver Coastal Health at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver.

This position provides occupational therapy and upper extremity therapy for clients with upper extremity injuries. Using evidence-based practice, you will assess occupational performance and deliver advanced, outcome-oriented services. The work follows a client and family centred care model and established qualified standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess occupational performance using an evidence-based approach
- Plan and implement advanced outcome-oriented therapy services
- Evaluate service effectiveness and maintain optimal health outcomes
- Participate in occupational therapy and interdisciplinary research




- Contribute to developing and promoting occupational therapy services

Requirements:

- Occupational Therapy degree and three years acute-setting experience
- One year of orthopaedics or hands experience
- Successful American Hand Therapy Certification Examination completion
- Certified Hand Therapist designation and current CHCPBC registration
- Eligible for Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists membership
