We currently have an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician at our RichardsonPort Terminal located in Thunder Bay. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor,this position will provide support for electrical repair and maintenance ofplant equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

- Installs, modifies, repairs and maintains electrical circuits, devices andequipment
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical and control equipment
- Participates in training related to this position
- Operates in accordance with health, safety, and fire prevention regulationsand practices




- Provides assistance to other Maintenance team members
- Responds to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basis

Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician with 2+ years of heavy industrial experienceor 2nd and 3rd year apprentices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical schematics, automation, and plantequipment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working in confined spaces,heights, and extreme conditions.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
- Safety-focused, with a strong work ethic and availability for shifts,shutdowns, and emergency call-ins.
