Apply your Biochemistry expertise as a part time permanent Laboratory Technologist at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. Perform testing across routine, special Biochemistry, and Toxicology.

As part of Unity Health Toronto, this Laboratory Technologist performs pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical functions. The work includes preparing, authorizing, and interpreting laboratory results, while following SOPs and quality requirements. You will rotate workstations, prioritize routine and STAT workloads, and respond to specimen and result inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform Biochemistry and Toxicology laboratory functions
- Prepare, authorize, and interpret laboratory results
- Identify abnormal results and seek appropriate advice
- Maintain, calibrate,



and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Document incidents and support quality management activities

Requirements:

- Current CMLTO registration with Biochemistry discipline
- Recent Biochemistry experience within the last two years
- Proficiency with computer software applications, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
- Availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays
