Apply industrial electrical expertise at CST Coal Mine Site in Grande Cache, maintaining equipment and facilities on a 7-day rotation. Work safely outdoors.

This Certified Electrician performs planned and breakdown maintenance, repairs, installations, and testing for mobile and stationary equipment or facilities. The role reports to the Electrical Foreman and may supervise an apprentice. Duties include industrial wiring, switchgear, motors, generators, controls, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
- Install and repair industrial wiring, conduits, cables, and fixtures
- Test equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
- Maintain switchgear, transformers, meters,



regulators, and reactors
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical and electronic control systems

Requirements:

- Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification or recognized equivalent
- Minimum one year of relevant industrial experience
- Surface mining mobile equipment experience preferred
- Ability to handle loads over 20 kilograms
- Class 5 driver’s licence and required physical capabilities
