As a Municipal Design Engineer, you will support Calgary’s Land Development and Municipal Engineering team. Your work spans residential subdivisions, municipal water and wastewater systems, and infrastructure for public, private, and First Nation clients. The position covers design, analysis, documentation, advisory services, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design land development and municipal infrastructure projects
- Prepare drawings, specifications, estimates, and technical reports
- Advise clients and mentor junior team members
- Support contract administration and conduct construction field reviews




- Liaise with municipalities, utilities, and approval agencies

Requirements:

- Five to ten years of municipal infrastructure or land development experience
- Civil engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution
- Alberta P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech. designation
- Knowledge of local and environmental standards and guidelines
- Design experience with sewer, watermain, and road projects
