Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides visionary leadership for a registered nonprofit community organization. The mandate includes strategic planning, operational oversight, financial stewardship, community engagement, and mission delivery. The role supports education, career development, and employment services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide visionary leadership aligned with mission and strategic priorities
- Oversee daily operations, programs, policies, and regulatory compliance
- Develop budgets, monitor finances, and oversee audits and risk management
- Lead fundraising,



grant applications, partnerships, and donor relations
- Represent The Murphy Centre with community and government stakeholders

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Minimum five years of senior leadership experience
- Success in fundraising, grant writing, and financial management
- Understanding of governance and Board collaboration
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
