Support enterprise security systems at Canadian Bank Note Company in Ottawa through surveillance, access control, and in office technical expertise.

This permanent, full-time Security Systems Technician maintains CBN’s complex multi-site security environment. The on-site position combines troubleshooting, system administration, structured cabling, and contractor coordination. You will support video surveillance, physical access control, intercoms, servers, applications, and related infrastructure across North American facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise surveillance and access control systems
- Administer Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, and related platforms
- Coordinate installations, upgrades, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Manage contractors, quotes, hardware validation,



standards, and critical spares
- Coordinate structured cabling requirements across North American facilities

Requirements:

- Three years’ experience in structured cabling or commercial security
- Knowledge of access control and network-based surveillance systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret clearance
- Eligibility to work in Canada or the United States
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, travel, and participate in on-call rotation
