Build scalable AI data pipelines with Python, PySpark, and Databricks as a Principal Engineer supporting Citi’s Enterprise Risk Technology platform.

This intermediate-level Principal Engineer works within Retail and Wealth Risk Engineering. You will design enterprise-grade data solutions, deploy AI agents, and support analytics platforms using FastAPI, Kafka, and microservices. The work includes data federation, cloud-native infrastructure, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable AI agents and ELT/ETL data pipelines
- Deploy generative AI agents using Google ADK and LLMs
- Build data federation layers for Data Mesh architectures
- Automate microservice integrations with CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain data quality, integrity, and security

Requirements:

- Eight or more years in large-scale application development
- Five or more years leading Python and PySpark engineering
- Experience with Databricks, FastAPI, YAML, JSON, and LLM integrations
- Solid SQL and relational database experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
