Lead advanced process control projects at ABB using model predictive control and industrial automation in a hybrid, three-day-per-week work model. Improve process performance across complex industrial operations.

As a senior design authority, you will complete assignments across moderate-sized projects and portions of major projects. The work spans APC, MPC, fuzzy logic, control logic, process variable optimization, and process integration. You will support mining, metals, cement, and related process industries while meeting contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technically lead APC projects and define execution strategies
- Analyze processes for optimization, stabilization, and performance improvement
- Design, configure, test, and commission advanced control strategies




- Integrate APC with control systems, historians, databases, and OPC servers
- Support customer-site start-up, tuning, stabilization, and benefit validation

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 10+ years in advanced process control, automation, or optimization
- Practical knowledge of mining or cement processes
- Experience implementing, testing, commissioning, and optimizing APC solutions
- Robust communication, analytical, organizational, and technical leadership skills
