Shape educational facilities planning for OCDSB using enrolment analysis, project management, and community consultation in Nepean. This regular full-time position works Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Manager of Planning, the Planner II coordinates ongoing projects involving existing and future schools. The work includes demographic analysis, facility capacity studies, and Board reporting. You will also support accommodation reviews and recent community planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop projected enrolments by school, grade, and program
- Coordinate the annual portable allocation process
- Implement pupil accommodation and attendance boundary studies
- Prepare reports and recommendations on facility capacity




- Plan future school requirements with City officials and developers

Requirements:

- University degree in Planning or related discipline
- Minimum four years in education or community facilities planning
- Experience with GIS, Baragar Systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- Strong research, analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Reliable transportation for travel to external meetings
