Apply mental health and addiction expertise as a Registered Practical Nurse with Ontario Shores’ ACTT serving Haliburton, Kawartha, and Peterborough communities. Work full time temporarily.

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, this Registered Practical Nurse provides assertive community treatment for clients with severe, persistent mental illness. The position combines mental and physical assessments, psychosocial rehabilitation, recovery-focused care, and clinical case management. You will collaborate with clients, families, support networks, and multidisciplinary clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct mental health and physical assessments for referred clients
- Provide client-centred treatment, rehabilitation, and community support
- Develop goals and plans with clients and care teams




- Deliver medication and monitor medication compliance
- Provide crisis intervention and prevent further hospitalization

Requirements:

- College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
- Current CPR Health Care Provider certification
- Knowledge of acute psychiatry and mental health nursing standards
- Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery knowledge and experience
- Ability to work independently, multidisciplinary teams, shifts, and weekends
