The Residential Counsellor supports boys and girls experiencing difficulties at home. Reporting to the Direct Services Supervisor, this role promotes each child’s best interests and protection. On-the-job training supports learning new skills, while social services or child welfare experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide care and support to group home clients
- Promote children’s best interests and protection
- Support client safety, health, and well-being
- Provide structured residential living for children and youth
- Report to the Direct Services Supervisor

Requirements:

- Interest in working with children and youth
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Personal time management abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training
- Ability to travel; no work from home available
