The Opportunity
Loblaw is seeking an experienced construction and project management professional to join our team as Technical Lead, Risk Mitigation.
This role will focus on identifying and addressing underlying building deficiencies across our food retail and food manufacturing facilities, with a focus on preventing pest entry and harbourage through durable building and construction solutions. Through hands‑on site assessments, practical problem‑solving and strong project management, you will lead remediation initiatives that improve building integrity, reduce facility risks and deliver lasting solutions.
You will work closely with internal teams, general contractors and trades to assess facility conditions, develop scopes of work,
oversee corrective actions and ensure construction is completed to a high standard. You will also contribute to preventative design and construction standards that can be applied across our network.
This is an opportunity for a construction professional who understands how buildings come together, enjoys solving complex on‑site challenges and can turn technical findings into practical, sustainable improvements.
