VHA Home HealthCare seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant to support prescribed exercise programs and activities of daily living training. You will assist with transfers, stairs, walking, positioning, motor activities, and balance. The work includes client and family education, documentation, reporting health changes, and participating in program planning, quality improvement, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with prescribed exercises and activities of daily living training
- Supervise walking, transfers, stairs, mobility, and positioning
- Provide education addressing physical, functional,



and self-care needs
- Monitor health changes and report them to therapists
- Document client records and collect required data

Requirements:

- Ability to apply proper body mechanics during client assistance
- Knowledge of client safety practices and professional standards
