The Section Head manages technical operations within designated sections of Northern Health’s multifunction laboratory. This position combines administrative, supervisory, and technical duties across clinical chemistry, hematology, and transfusion medicine. The schedule is Monday to Friday, days, from 09:00 to 17:00, with rotating on-call participation supporting 24/7 services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage technical operations within designated laboratory sections
- Perform administrative duties for the multifunction laboratory
- Provide supervision across assigned technical operations




- Perform technical laboratory duties as required
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage for 24/7 services

Requirements:

- Practice in clinical chemistry, hematology, and transfusion medicine
- Ability to perform administrative laboratory duties
- Ability to provide technical operational supervision
- Availability for rotating on-call assignments
- Ability to return to site for required call-outs
