Element Technical Services is currently hiring for the following position:
JOURNEYMAN WELDER
$2,000 Signing Bonus

Summary of Position

Has 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Journeyman BPressure Welding Certificate. Able to fabricate, install, assemble and repaircomponents in the shop or in the field as required. Good communication skills. Workwith electrical technicians, mechanics, field employees and supervisors onprojects. Required to provide guidance and training to others within thedepartment.

Requirements

- Bpressure welding ticket
- Proficient knowledge of welding procedures -steel & aluminum
- Knowledge of Coil Tubing and Fracturingequipment is considered an asset for this position
- Self-motivated and have the initiative to fullyperform the duties of this position independently along with a strong sense ofurgency and the ability to prioritize issues
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactorydriving record
- Comfortable with fabrication, with or without drawings

Responsibilities

- Perform welding repairs on FRAC and COIL TUBINGequipment, including repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximizesafe and productive operations
- Read and interpret schematics.
- Maintain welding consumablesand supply stock levels and specify/re-order as necessary.




- Document repairs via our workorder system in EBS. Help to maintain a safe and clean work environment foryourself and co-workers.
- Participate in safety meetings and providefeedback on equipment modifications and specifications

Training

- All safety course requirements, will be provided at time of start
- Employees will have the opportunity to attend training courses and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course
