About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement real estate investment strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Source, underwrite, and negotiate potential acquisitions of commercial, industrial, and retail properties.
- Conduct comprehensive market research, financial analysis, and due diligence for all investment opportunities.
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of real estate assets, ensuring optimal performance and value enhancement.
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums, financial models, and presentations for investment committee approval.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, lenders, and other industry stakeholders in Kimberley and beyond.
- Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and capital markets to identify opportunities and risks.




- Oversee asset management activities, including leasing, property operations, and capital expenditures.
- Negotiate and manage financing arrangements for property acquisitions.
- Contribute to strategic portfolio planning and risk management initiatives.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in real estate investment management, acquisitions, or capital markets.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, underwriting, and closing significant real estate transactions.
- Deep understanding of real estate finance, valuation techniques, and investment structures.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of the South African property market, with a preference for experience in the Northern Cape region.
- Ability to work strategically and independently in a demanding environment.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA or an advanced real estate designation are highly regarded.
