Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (8+ years of experience) to lead end-to-end procurement transactions using strategic sourcing and contract negotiations- 58850

Join a procurement team supporting complex sourcing and contracting initiatives within a regulated banking environment. This role leads procurement activities from sourcing strategy through contract execution while partnering with suppliers, Legal, and risk and control functions. The position offers exposure to multiple transformation initiatives and the opportunity to manage high-impact procurement engagements across technology, professional services, and enterprise functions.

Location: Toronto or Mississauga/Hybrid- 4 Days on Site

Duration: 10 Months (Chance of Extension)

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Must Haves

- 8+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management
- 8+ years leading end-to-end procurement transactions from sourcing strategy through contract execution
- Solid background negotiating commercial terms and contractual terms directly with suppliers
- Experience partnering with Legal, business stakeholders, and risk and control functions




- Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Have

- Experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry
- Professional procurement, supply chain, or contract management certification
- Experience supporting technology, operations, or enterprise services procurement initiatives
- Experience working within formal governance and risk management frameworks

Responsibilities

- Lead procurement initiatives through the full procurement lifecycle from intake through executed agreement
- Develop and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives and risk requirements
- Manage supplier selection activities, commercial negotiations, contract negotiations, approvals, and execution activities
- Evaluate supplier proposals and provide recommendations to stakeholders and senior management
- Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk Management, Information Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders
- Identify and elevate risks, issues, and contractual exceptions
- Provide strategic sourcing expertise and market insights to business partners
