As Principal Product Manager, you will guide embedding, reranking, vector database, and related capabilities. You will shape products serving organizations across Elastic deployments. Success requires product management experience with technical infrastructure, search, databases, or ML and AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own vision, strategy, and multi-quarter vector database roadmap
- Define embedding, reranking, indexing, and retrieval strategy
- Partner with engineering and research on technical trade-offs
- Establish metrics for recall, latency, throughput, and index size

Requirements:

- Eight-plus years in product management
- Technical infrastructure, database, search, or ML platform experience
- Knowledge of embeddings, ANN indexing, similarity metrics, and hybrid retrieval
- Working knowledge of generative models and model fine tuning
- Record shipping developer or infrastructure products adopted at scale
