Registered Practical Nurses provide resident-centred care at Cogir Senior Living, using clinical knowledge, communication, and critical thinking skills. The work focuses on seniors.

This Registered Practical Nurse position delivers planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care under provincial standards. You will support residents, families, and teams through trusted relationships and ongoing communication. The role includes care planning, documentation, delegation, coaching, and mentorship for unregulated care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams
- Implement and evaluate care plans, making changes as required
- Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans,



and documentation
- Teach, delegate, direct, coach, and mentor unregulated care providers

Requirements:

- Current provincial registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
- Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
