Lead contaminated-site fieldwork with SLR Consulting as an Early Career Environmental Scientist, applying soil and groundwater sampling expertise. Travel and outdoor work are integral.

This early career position supports environmental assessments, remediation programs, and long-term monitoring across urban, remote, oil and gas, commercial, industrial, federal, and municipal sites. You will contribute throughout project life cycles while developing environmental science or engineering expertise. The work includes field execution, technical reporting, data interpretation, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Sample and monitor soil, groundwater, vapour, and surface water
- Support decommissioning, remediation,



and system operation programs
- Prepare technical reports and interpret environmental data
- Assist project managers with budgets, schedules, and coordination

Requirements:

- Degree or technical diploma in an environmental discipline
- Preferred one year of contaminated-site experience
- Solid interest in hands-on outdoor fieldwork
- Availability to travel and work away from home
- Valid driver's license and professional-status eligibility
