Support functional restoration and exercise programs as an Occupational Physiotherapy Assistant at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering. This temporary part-time role includes wide-ranging shifts.

Working in the Physio - LHAP Healthy Aging program, you will assist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists with prescribed patient treatments. The role includes mobility support, activities of daily living treatment, wheelchair maintenance, and therapeutic equipment use. Inpatient acute care experience and current CPR certification are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide prescribed functional restoration and exercise programs
- Monitor patient responses and update supervising therapists
- Assist with activities of daily living treatment




- Support mobility improvements with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
- Maintain equipment, inventory, and department spaces

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited Occupational or Physiotherapy Assistant program
- Inpatient acute care experience
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients safely
- Effective communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
