Lead quality and patient safety initiatives as a physician leader at Mission Memorial Hospital, with flexible hours and approximately seven monthly hours.

The Quality Physician Medical Leader guides physicians and health care providers on clinical quality and patient safety. This one-year, part time leadership role reports to the Executive Medical Director, Clinical Quality and Patient Safety. You will collaborate with clinical quality, senior, department, and regional leaders. The work supports evidence-based patient care models, physician engagement, and capacity building.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead physician-driven quality improvement projects and initiatives
- Review patient safety reports and identify improvement projects
- Promote physician participation in patient safety activities




- Analyze safety indicators and recommend improvement strategies
- Present clinical input at site quality committee meetings

Requirements:

- Active privileges at Mission Memorial Hospital
- Canadian Medical Protective Association membership
- College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia Full license
- Physician qualification for health care provider duties
- Availability for evening meetings and travel when required
