Position Summary

We have an exciting chance for a casual Administrative Services Assistant to join our team This position will support multiple clinics within the Public Health portfolio. This position provides coverage for Community Health Services Centre, the West Kelowna Health Centre, Rutland Health Centre and Lake Country Health Centre.

What Will You Work On?

As an Administrative Services Assistant, you will provide reception, clerical and administrative support to help ensure the smooth delivery of client services.



Your responsibilities will include data entry, scheduling client appointments, maintaining records and waiting lists, preparing correspondence and reports, responding to inquiries, and coordinating information as required. You will also provide health unit aide support by maintaining medical and surgical supply inventories, monitoring stock levels, cleaning medical equipment and instruments, and delivering supplies and biologicals to the health unit. Your organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to balance a variety of tasks will help support the effective operation of these programs.

Qualfications

Education, Training & Experience

- Grade 12,
- Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
- One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Ability to type at 40 nwpm
