Valard Construction seeks an experienced Project Controller reporting to the Manager, Business Performance. You will partner with project leadership across a portfolio, managing budgets, forecasts, job costing, and month-end processes. The position supports accurate financial lifecycle reporting and project decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review contracts, budgets, estimates, and work breakdown structures
- Provide financial oversight and support Project Managers
- Lead cost accrual, job cost, and forecast meetings
- Prepare productivity reports, review packages, and margin commentary




- Maintain risk registers and contract value files

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field
- Five years of progressive construction accounting experience
- Expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and project analytics
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and revenue recognition
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system skills
