Health Care Aide (HCA)
Mimak Care is seeking qualified and compassionate Health Care Aides (HCAs) for assignments across British Columbia, including long-term care and assisted living facilities.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Current registration in valuable standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Recognized Health Care Aide certificate
- Food Safe 1 or equivalent
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid criminal record check, including vulnerable sector clearance ( within 6 months)
- TB screening and immunisation records (MMR)
- Ability to safely assist residents with personal care, mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work within the HCA scope of practice and follow the direction of regulated healthcare professionals
