Lead mechanical maintenance in pharmaceutical manufacturing at Apotex, using equipment expertise, troubleshooting skills, and technical training capabilities.

As Technician, Mechanical TS7, you will support production machinery reliability and guide junior technicians. The work spans maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, planning, installation, and rebuilding. You will collaborate with Production Technical Coordinators and internal customers, including Operations, Quality, and Engineering, while supporting quality, productivity, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate maintenance resources and activities with Production Technical Coordinators
- Resolve technical service issues beyond existing standard operating procedures
- Mentor junior mechanics in training, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding




- Maintain compliance with CGMPs, SOPs, and safety standards
- Recommend equipment design, drawing, and parts modifications

Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 12 secondary school education
- Technical college diploma strongly preferred
- In-depth mechanics and machine shop practices knowledge
- Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pharmaceutical GMP knowledge
- Minimum five years’ similar pharmaceutical or consumer goods experience
