Lead Canadian brokerage operations remotely from Canada, applying CIRO expertise, automation, and custody knowledge to scalable workflows.

As a Senior Brokerage Operations Associate at Alpaca, you will translate dealer, clearing, and custody requirements into auditable processes. You will partner with Compliance, Product, Engineering, global Operations, and the ACCC President / UDP. Your work supports launch readiness, straight-through processing, registered accounts, tax operations, and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design account lifecycle and client servicing workflows
- Define partner broker responsibilities for accounts, trades, and assets
- Manage settlement, fails, corporate actions, cash, and securities
- Build reconciliations, exception management, controls,



and runbooks
- Prepare Canadian registered-account and tax operations

Requirements:

- 10+ years of hands-on Canadian brokerage operations experience
- Knowledge of CIRO, CDS / CDSX, custody, clearing, and settlement
- Depth in at least two core brokerage operations areas
- Experience shipping process and tooling improvements
- Exceptional SOP, RACI, decision-log, and requirements writing
