As a systems engineer, you will carry out pneumatics discipline activities for aerospace engineering programs. The work includes functional modeling, trade studies, system performance testing, and technical project management. You will support compliant product definition from design through testing and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define pneumatic system architectures, specifications, and requirements
- Manage system integration and interfaces with internal groups and suppliers
- Conduct functional modeling, trade studies, validation, and verification
- Review vendor drawings, test procedures,
and certification documents
- Prepare compliance reports and document ground and flight test results
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Ideally five to fifteen years of relevant aerospace experience
- Excellent knowledge of fluid flow and thermodynamic concepts
- Basic pneumatics knowledge and understanding of interfacing disciplines
- Familiarity with DO-160, Mil-Std 810, and ARP4754A
