⚠️ IMPORTANT: In order to apply, follow the instructions at the end of this

job description
. It should take less than an hour and 99% of people won’t do it. Do not simply use the “easy apply” button. If you do, you will not be considered for this role. ⚠️ We are 100C (www.100c.io), a 10-person full-service YouTube agency based in the United States. We create and grow profitable YouTube channels for 8-to-9-figure businesses. Over the past 7 years we have strategized, written, edited, and posted more than 500 long-form YouTube videos for our clients. We are currently looking for a YouTube education scriptwriter to join our team as we expand. You will learn how to write premium education scripts from our co-founder, Cyan. He’ll not only teach you his strategies and approach, but also his AI workflow to produce world-class content at scale. Our Values: It's important that you are in alignment with our values. If this doesn't sound like you, do NOT apply:
• Quality First
- We are a PREMIUM agency, so it's important that you're driven to constantly do your best work and take your skills to the next level. If you're just looking for a job that is easy to do and doesn't require you to think carefully about your writing, this role is NOT for you.
• High Accountability
- You want to take responsibility for your successes AND your failures. If we call you out for doing poor-quality work or delivering late, you have the emotional maturity to take ownership for it and aspire to do better next time.
• Directness
- We don't beat around the bush. If you do great work, we praise you and let you know. Similarly, if something is bad, we tell you. If you can't take direct criticism, this role is NOT for you.
• High Agency & Resourcefulness
- You are good at solving your own problems. We are here to help and will go out of our way to prepare you for the role, but you should be eager to own this position and do it well without us micromanaging you.

About the role
This work is hard. Writing scripts is one of the most valuable things we do for our clients, so there’s no phoning it in. Every single script needs to be the BEST for that topic on YouTube. And that’s NOT a high bar. Most people use ChatGPT to quickly turn out AI slop. We use AI too, but we use it to make our scripting BETTER (not simply faster). So if any of the following describe you, please do NOT apply for this position:
• You think AI has no place writing scripts (it’s the future of writing quality education content at scale)
• You think you can use AI to research and write a script in an hour or two (a good script should take much longer)

• You think scripts just need to be “good enough” (this runs counter to everything we stand for)
• You think your scriptwriting skills don’t need to improve (there’s always room for improvement)
• You think valuable education scriptwriting on YouTube is simply telling stories (thought leadership content can include stories, but at the end of the day it’s about value) On the other hand, you SHOULD apply for this position if:
• You’re determined to become one of the best YouTube education scriptwriters in the world
• You have a track record of writing thought leadership content on YouTube that outperforms the competition
• You love AI but hate AI slop
• You understand that VALUE is the #1 priority of a good education script
• You’re competitive and love to win
• You respect RESULTS more than effort So what exactly does the job entail? Your weekly responsibilities would include:
• Following the AI workflow that we’ve spent years developing
• Researching, strategizing, and writing 3-4 long-form YouTube scripts (typical word count 2,500-5,000)
• Continuously updating AI prompts & documents to improve workflow
• Staying on top of YouTube scriptwriting best practices and constantly evolving your scriptwriting approach
• Regularly running experiments to discover new scriptwriting strategies that work
• Researching audience sentiment to write content that resonates
• Working with our packaging team to figure out the best possible thumbnails and titles for each script
• Staying up to date on client and competitor thought leadership By the time you’re up to speed, you should be able to write one top-tier long form script in a day. As AI improves that might speed up, but right now that’s a realistic expectation. When you get started it will likely be closer to 2 days per script. We know writing well is hard and expect there to be a learning curve. We will give you everything you need to shorten that curve as quickly as possible. Speaking of everything you need, some of the resources we will provide include:
• A Perplexity Max account ($200/mo)
• A Claude Max account ($100/mo)
• A Gemini Pro account ($20/mo) We don’t require that you work set hours or be online at specific times. You’re welcome to work whenever you want so long as you’re not falling behind.

If we are 24-48 hours out from a deadline you need to be online and immediately responsive. Ghosting us when you’re behind schedule is grounds for immediate dismissal. Additional

Requirements:
Below is a list of additional requirements for the job, please read through it carefully before applying:
• English is your first language (or you’re so proficient that people can’t tell it’s your second language)
• You have a documented history writing YouTube education content, or similar marketing copy
• You're available to write the quantity and quality we're requesting
• Willing to work on weekends when necessary (if you fall behind)
• Available to start within the next two weeks The Offer: Your starting pay will be $3,000-$6,000USD per month, depending on your skill level. If you have a longer learning curve, we will increase your monthly base once you prove you can complete the work without extensive feedback. We also offer bonuses for hitting performance benchmarks. To Apply: Review this script for a natural health YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/100C-scriptwriter-test We've added problems to the script on purpose, and they can be found anywhere in it.
• Record you + your screen as you go through the script from start to finish. Loom or any screen recorder works.
• Call out the major problems you find. For each one, explain:
• What the problem is
• Why it's a problem for the viewer
• How you would fix it Some things to remember:
• Not every line has a problem. Only flag what you would actually change.
• You don’t need to catch every issue, just convince us you know what you’re talking about.
• Explain your fixes out loud — you don't need to rewrite the script.
• Keep your recording under 20 minutes (read the script and think of your revisions before pressing record)
• Don't try to have AI write your suggested revisions. We want to see your own judgment (plus we we already know what AI is going to say). Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “[FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME] YouTube Scriptwriter Application.” Attach your resume to it, attach examples of one or more scripts you’ve written, include a link to your screen recording, and in the email briefly explain:
• How long you have been writing YouTube scripts
• What kind of YouTube scripts you have experience writing
• How many long-form scripts you have written
• Why you like writing YouTube scripts, and what about writing YouTube thought leadership content in particular appeals to you That’s it Send us that email and you will be on a very short list of candidates for the job.
