Lead resident-centred care and clinical programs as Extendicare’s Assistant Director of Care and Educator. Apply strong leadership, quality improvement, and communication skills. Reporting to the Director of Care, this full time leader oversees assigned clinical areas within Extendicare’s model of care. The position supports resident safety, family engagement, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, families, vendors, and community health partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned programs under Extendicare’s Model of Care
- Identify risks, mitigation strategies, and required escalations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes




- Mentor team members through training and development
- Respond empathetically to resident and family feedback

Requirements:
- Fluent French and English language skills
- At least three years as registered long-term care staff
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse registration
- Current CPR certification and provincial certificate of competence
- Experience with Point Click Care and Microsoft Office Bring clinical leadership, education, and quality improvement expertise to strengthen resident-centred care at Extendicare.
