Lead MTO highway engineering projects across Ontario as a Principal Engineer, applying advanced design expertise and transportation leadership. This Team Lead position coordinates multidisciplinary delivery. At Parsons, the Principal Engineer advances the Transportation Engineering practice supporting the Ministry of Transportation Ontario. You will lead Highway Engineers and Design Specialists across rehabilitation, replacement, widening, and expansion projects. The work spans functional studies, preliminary design, and detail design while maintaining MTO standards, policies, and practices. You will also support client relationships and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Highway Engineering components from planning through project execution
- Direct functional studies, preliminary design, and detail design development
- Coordinate engineers,



designers, and subcontractors across Ontario
- Monitor geometric, grading, drainage, safety, and traffic designs
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, schedules, and budgets

Requirements:
- University degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- Skilled Engineer licensed with Professional Engineers Ontario
- 15+ years of MTO experience
- Experience with MTO preliminary or detail design
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, and AutoTurn Bring MTO design expertise, team leadership, and transportation engineering knowledge to Parsons’ Ontario highway infrastructure projects.
