Lead privacy, data protection, and information governance work with EY in Toronto, advising professionals on risk-appropriate compliance solutions. As Associate Director, you will support EY Canada’s privacy and data protection team. The work covers Canadian privacy laws, records management, data governance, and risk management. You will help maintain compliance through policies, processes, monitoring, training, and stakeholder guidance.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote compliance with data protection laws and EY policies
- Provide practical, risk-appropriate advice to professionals
- Monitor tools, processes, reporting, feedback, and improvements
- Support EY Canada’s Privacy and Data Protection Leader




- Deliver training and awareness campaigns for personnel

Requirements:
- Minimum five years in data protection or information governance
- Knowledge of records classification, metadata, retention, and preservation
- Understanding of Canadian federal and provincial privacy laws
- Experience improving governance, privacy, or compliance processes
- Robust analytical, communication, collaboration, and judgment skills Bring privacy expertise, records management knowledge, and practical advisory judgment to EY Canada’s Toronto governance team.
