Provide surgical retina expertise in Victoria, BC, using advanced ophthalmic equipment and supporting medical and surgical retina care. Island Health is seeking a Surgical Retina Ophthalmologist for a six month full time locum in its Division of Ophthalmology. The physician will practice in a private medical and surgical retina office, with hospital privileges and access to Royal Jubilee Hospital facilities. The position may start in January 2027, with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full time surgical retina locum services
- Deliver medical and surgical retina care
- Operate approximately one scheduled day weekly
- Manage possible urgent after hours cases
- Participate in rotating Vancouver Island call coverage

Requirements:
- Completed a surgical retina fellowship in a recognized program
- Eligible for full ophthalmology licensure in British Columbia
- Eligible for College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC licensure
