As a Senior Design Technician, Bridges, you will prepare drawings and technical documentation for bridge, culvert, and retaining wall projects. The work includes design, inspection, construction activities, contract administration, and construction oversight. You will coordinate with project managers and design engineers while supporting traditional and alternative delivery projects. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare preliminary, detailed,
and as-built bridge drawings Develop drawings for culverts and retaining walls Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts with project managers and engineers Document structural performance data during inspection programs Support contract administration and construction oversight Requirements:
Diploma in Structural, Civil, or Transportation Engineering Technology Proficiency in AutoCAD within consulting or design environments Exposure to highway, rail, or pedestrian bridge structures Ability to support inspections and interpret field conditions Solid technical communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills Apply bridge design, inspection, AutoCAD, and technical communication skills to transportation infrastructure projects with WSP.
