About the Role

Our client, a distinguished engineering consultancy renowned for its innovative structural solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their growing team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . Lead the structural design and analysis of various projects, ensuring compliance with national building codes and standards (SANS). Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications. Oversee the structural design process from concept to completion, including site visits during construction. Collaborate effectively with architects, other engineering disciplines, and contractors. Mentor and guide junior structural engineers and technicians. Manage project timelines and budgets for structural engineering tasks. Perform complex structural analysis using advanced software tools.



Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations. Stay current with advancements in structural engineering materials and techniques. Ensure effective risk management related to structural design aspects. Requirements

Master's degree in Structural Engineering. Qualified registration with ECSA as a Skilled Engineer (Pr Eng). A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering design. Proven experience in the design of concrete, steel, and composite structures for buildings and infrastructure. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Prokon, STAAD.Pro). Strong understanding of construction methods and site practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead a design team. Experience working on projects in the Kimberley, Northern Cape area or similar challenging environments is preferred. Benefits
