Build production recommendations with Python and cloud platforms at Scribd, Inc. through the adaptable Scribd Flex work model and occasional in-person attendance. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will own Fable recommendations and grow into technical leadership for Premium recommendations. You will work across recommender systems, large-scale data processing, online experiments, and production machine learning. The team supports discovery for Everand and Fable, partnering with Orion’s machine learning platform team. Key Responsibilities:

Five-plus years shipping production machine learning systems Production recommender systems experience, including learned ranking Large-scale data processing with Spark, Databricks, or BigQuery AWS or Google Cloud container deployment experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience Apply machine learning, recommender systems, and technical leadership to improve discovery across Scribd, Everand, and Fable.
