Lead environmental assessments for Ontario water infrastructure with WSP, using regulatory expertise and multidisciplinary leadership across a hybrid office network. As a Senior Environmental Planner, you will guide water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from planning through approvals. You will work within WSP’s Environmental Impact Assessment team, delivering Municipal Class Environmental Assessments and supporting clients through permitting. The position also involves strategic infrastructure planning, team direction, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental assessments for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
- Deliver Master Plans and Schedule B and C projects
- Direct multidisciplinary studies, assessments, and regulatory submissions




- Design engagement programs for Indigenous Nations and stakeholders
- Guide clients on permitting, feasibility, and infrastructure strategies

Requirements:
- Degree in environmental studies, science, planning, or related discipline
- 10+ years leading infrastructure assessments and approvals
- Experience delivering Municipal Class Environmental Assessments
- Knowledge of Ontario environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience leading medium to large multidisciplinary teams Bring senior environmental planning, permitting, engagement, and project leadership expertise to WSP’s Ontario infrastructure practice.
