Lead heavy civil construction planning and execution for Aecon’s Arctic Over the Horizon Radar Program project across Ontario’s Kawartha Lakes and Barrie regions. As Construction Director, you will report to the Project Director and lead pre-construction and site execution activities. The role requires self-perform construction management, multidisciplinary team leadership, labour relations, and safety oversight. Aecon’s Civil team is delivering this project through an Integrated Project Delivery model with Pomerleau and Stantec. Key Responsibilities:

Lead site operations, construction planning, and execution activities Staff supervisory personnel and develop the hiring plan Coordinate constructability with engineering staff Manage safety, quality, training,



and supervisor qualifications Maintain client relationships and address labour relations proactively Requirements:

15+ years of self-perform construction management experience Extensive knowledge of self-perform trades work and estimating Proficient trades union relations and agreement management skills Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills Flexibility to work in field and office locations; travel as necessary Bring senior construction leadership, safety performance, and execution expertise to Aecon’s landmark Ontario infrastructure project.
