Compensation Range: CAD 75-80.00/Hr. + HST

Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned, certified

Project Manager

to lead a high-visibility software integration and platform replacement project in the financial services sector. In this role, you will hold complete end-to-end accountability for project delivery—managing schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and final approvals.

Positioned at the center of a agile stakeholder ecosystem, you will collaborate with project sponsors, business leaders, technical teams, and external integration partners. You will report directly to executive sponsors and the steering committee, using strong political acumen and leadership to drive project governance, change control, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Ownership:

Define and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, risk management strategies, and deliverable sign-offs.

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Leadership:

Serve as the central focal point between executive sponsors, department managers, domain leads, and third-party software integrators.

Governance & Reporting:

Prepare and present strategic progress reports directly to executive sponsors and steering committees.

Change Management:





Exercise decision-making authority over resource requests, scope changes, and risk mitigation plans.

Cross-Functional Facilitation:

Bridge business and technical domains by applying foundational knowledge of financial operations, accounting, derivatives, and risk management.

Required Qualifications & Key Criteria

Seniority:

6+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects.

Certifications (Mandatory - At least one):

PMP, MGP, or PMI-ACP.

Domain & Technical Experience (Mandatory Combination):

Proven track record leading

software integration and platform change

projects.

Direct experience in the

financial sector

and/or a formal

risk management

context.
