Lead Jewish Federation of Victoria & Vancouver Island in Victoria, combining fundraising and community engagement through in-person leadership. Build relationships across a pluralistic Jewish community and civic landscape. The Executive Director serves as JFVVI’s lead strategist, fundraiser, and ambassador. Reporting to the JFBC Chief Planning Officer, this leader works with the JFVVI Board President and a small professional team. The mandate includes strengthening philanthropy, community engagement, grantmaking, and measurable impact. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Annual Campaign and grow major and planned giving Manage major donors and steward significant gifts Partner with community agencies to align programming Develop volunteer leaders, committees,



and Board participation Represent JFVVI with civic, government, and nonprofit partners Requirements:

Eight to ten years of progressive leadership experience Fundraising success including six-figure major gifts Board partnership and volunteer-skilled collaboration experience Professional staff supervision and development experience Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred Bring strategic leadership, fundraising expertise, and relationship-building strength to JFVVI’s pluralistic Victoria community.
