Lead Java microservices architecture at Citi using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and cloud-native engineering across enterprise applications. This senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst guides an agile pod while designing resilient, scalable systems. The work combines hands-on Java engineering, technical mentorship, architectural governance, Kafka event streaming, and contemporary AI-assisted development tools. Key Responsibilities:

Lead cloud-native microservices design and delivery using Java and Spring Boot Architect Kafka event-driven systems and secure RESTful APIs Mentor engineers, review code, and enforce engineering standards Plan sprints, allocate work, and assess technical risks Guide continuous improvement with testing and AI developer tools Requirements:

Six to ten years of software engineering experience Deep Java 17 or Java 21 hands-on expertise Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices Proficiency with Apache Kafka and Oracle Database Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift Apply Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and technical leadership to Citi's enterprise applications development work.
